What AFS Albury Wodonga Orientation

Prior to the International Banquet, we will be holding an orientation session for all new students and host families.

  • In preparation please read the “Guide to being a Host Family” provided by AFS National Service Centre and bring this with you (if you do not have a copy please let me know).
  • We ask that if possible all families have a representative, even if you have hosted previously. Orientations are part of the international standard for both students and host families set down by AFS International. If your student is arriving after this date, it is important that the hosting family still attends.
  • Could everyone please arrive on time, as we wish to cover as much information as possible prior to the Banquet.

  • We are 14 kms from Albury Post Office
  • From Albury travel west along Riverina Hwy towards Corowa
  • At 10km from PO turn right into Splitters Creek Road (at base of big hill)
  • We are 3.9km along Splitters Creek Road
  • Ryan on letter box on the right side of road
