Most Ghanaians live in small villages, where society is very community focused, and thanks to their warm and welcoming manner they’ll soon have you feeling part of their extended family!
You’ll be living either with other volunteers on-site or with a local family depending on the location of your community placement. AFS also organises activities including trips to striking cultural and historical sites.
