Tunisian culture is an interesting and charming example of Arab Islamic culture blended with Mediterranean, European and Western influences, the result of 3,000 years as a melting pot of mediterranean cultures combined with a genuine openness to and acceptance of others.With such a diverse and rich culture, and with tolerance and peacefulness as some of the strongest features of its personality, Tunisia offers the perfect opportunity for the most interesting intercultural experience.
The Intensive Program (Archeology) is 3 week voluntary work camp will be situated on a prestigious archaeological site in the “Cap bon Area” (North East of Tunisia). The head of the project is a scholar from the National Institute of Heritage under the supervision of the Ministry of Culture. This project will include both excavations and restoration work.
