The Swiss love being outdoors – not surprising when you consider all the stunning mountains, green valleys, magnificent lakes and fairytale forests there are to explore.
You’ll have the chance to attend an intensive language course in the first month after arrival in German, French or Italian depending on where you are placed (most placements are in German-speaking areas).
Schools, called Maturittsschule , are very academically focused so if you are a highly motivated student, this is the country for you!
