15/3/2006 - KPMG offering one full year scholarship

KPMG, in partnership with AFS Australia, is offering the opportunity to win a full year scholarship to study overseas in 2006/2007.

Students could have the chance to learn a new language and broaden their horizons by immersing themselves in a comletely different culture, while also developing valuable work and life skills.

The scholarship will be entirely funded by KPMG and will cover:
√ Return travel from your home right to the door of your host family
√ Medical costs incurred during the visit, except for pre-existing conditions, dental and eye care
√ Accommodation and meals with a volunteer host family

Who is eligible?
Any child or sibling of a permanent KPMG employee who:
√ is aged 14-17 and attending secondary school at the time of application
√ meets the AFS application guidelines

The selection process is run independently by AFS Intercultural Programs. Interested applicants can download the form here. Requests can be made directly to AFS by contacting the following number: 1300 131 736. The application form must then be completed and returned directly to AFS in Sydney by the closing date of 31st March 2006.
