Hosting is a two-way process in which both students and their host families benefit from the intercultural experience. Each year, more than 200 Australian families open their hearts and homes for students from around the world. They come in all shapes and sizes and represent the diversity of Australian culture.

Sebastian was one of the lucky 200 students hosted in Australia in 2007. He has brought home with him incredible friendships, knowledge about Australia, our culture, our language and loads of memories.

Anyone interested in hosting an AFS exchange student can contact AFS on 1800 023 982.
