THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS CLOSED FOR THIS YEAR!

AFS is pleased to announce that J-Power (Australia) is offering one full scholarship to spend a year in Japan departing in 2009!

The scholarship funds the entire AFS participation fee to Japan. It covers:
√ Return travel from your home right to the door of your host family
√ Orientation and enrichment activities during the stay
√ Medical costs incurred during the visit, except for pre-existing conditions, dental and eye care

Who is eligible?
An AFS applicant who:
√ will be aged 15 or over, but not yet 18, in March 2009
√ meets the AFS application guidelines for Japan
√ is attending a Qld High School

How do I apply?

J-Power (Australia), a division of the Japan-based Electric Power Development Co. Ltd, has been working in partnership with AFS since 1993. In this time J-Power has sponsored sixteen students to take up the challenge to live and study for one year in Japan.
