THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS CLOSED FOR THIS YEAR!

AFS is pleased to announce that Western Power is offering one full scholarship to participate on a full year High School Program to any AFS country worldwide departing in 2009!

The scholarship covers the entire AFS participation fee, which includes:
√ Return travel from your home right to the door of your host family
√ Orientation and enrichment activities during the stay
√ Medical costs incurred during the visit, except for pre-existing conditions, dental and eye care

Who is eligible?
Any permanent Western Power employee’s child, sibling, niece or nephew who:

√ is aged 14.5-17
√ is in Year 9, 10, 11 or 12 at the time of application
√ meets the AFS application guidelines

You can register your interest by enquiring online or calling 1300 131 736 by 30 April 2008.

When is the closing Date for Applications?
Ensure that your complete AFS online application is submitted by 1 July 2008.

Western Power has been working in partnership with AFS since 1997.

During this time twelve students have been sponsored to take up the challenge of living and studying overseas for one year.
