THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS CLOSED FOR THIS YEAR!

AFS is pleased to announce that ANZ Regional, Rural & Small Business Banking is offering two full year scholarships to any AFS country worldwide on programs departing in 2009!

Each scholarship covers the entire AFS participation fee, which includes:
√ Return travel from your home right to the door of your host family
√ Orientation and enrichment activities during the stay
√ Medical costs incurred during the visit, except for pre-existing conditions, dental and eye care

Who is eligible?
Any teenager:
• Whose parent is an employee of ANZ Regional, Rural & Small Business Banking

And is:
• Aged 14-17 and attending secondary school at the time of application
• Mature enough to meet the challenges of living in another country
• In good health

Applications are judged on community involvement, interest in other cultures and consistent school marks. Every kind of teenager has a chance with these scholarships – sports lovers, computer buffs, artists, musicians and quiet achievers.

ANZ has been working in partnership with AFS since 1989. ANZ Rural Banking established new partnerships with AFS in 1999. To this date, ANZ has supported fourty-two students to take up the challenge of living and studying overseas for one year.
