Fabian van der Meer of Switzerland, who is currently hosted by the Bauer Family in Cairns, recently had the pleasure of being invited to travel to Alice Springs with his friend Ana, a lovely lady he met at church. Ana, who was making a work related trip to The Alice, thought that it would be a welcome opportunity to show Fabian this beautiful part of Australia. Fabian and Ana took a two day tour of Uluru, Kings Canyon and The Olgas and finished off the 4 day holiday with a visit to Simpson’s Cap. Fabian describes the trip as “an awesome experience”. Fabian attends Trinity Bay High School in Cairns and is a talented musician. He will return home to Switzerland in June.
