To celebrate Youth Week 2008, AFS is giving one lucky Tasmanian high school student the opportunity to discover Asia! Students have the chance to travel to either China, Thailand or Malaysia on a one year exchange, departing early 2009.

The full scholarship will cover:

• International flights
• Accommodation and food provided by a host family
• School fees at your host school
• Medical costs incurred during the visit (except for pre-existing conditions, dental and eye care)

Who is eligible?
Any teenager living in Tasmania who:

• Has lived there for at least 2 years
• Is attending secondary school and in Year 9, 10, 11 or 12 at the time of application
• Meets the AFS application guidelines
