THE SYDNEY WATER TERTIARY SCHOLARSHIP

Sydney Water is providing a University Study Scholarship of up to $10,000 each year for a maximum of four years to assist a family member of Sydney Water staff to complete their university degree.

Who is eligible?
A child, grandchild, niece, nephew, brother or sister of a permanent employee of Sydney Water.

How to apply?
Interested applicants should forward their resume, with covering letter to AFS Intercultural Programs.

When is the closing Date for Applications?
The application deadline is Wednesday 14 January 2009, so please make sure your applications are in the AFS office by then. Late or incomplete applications will not be accepted.

What does the scholarship cover?
The scholarship will offer a contribution of up to $10,000.00 per year to cover fees, books and study materials.

THIS SCHOLARSHIP IS CLOSED FOR THIS YEAR!

We are thrilled to announce a new scholarship offered by Sydney Water. It’s a full scholarship to any AFS countries worldwide on year High School Programs departing in 2009!

The scholarship covers the entire AFS participation fee. It includes:
√ Return travel from your home right to the door of your host family
√ Orientation and enrichment activities during the stay
√ Medical costs incurred during the visit, except for pre-existing conditions, dental and eye care

Who is eligible?
Any teenage child or stepchild of a Sydney Water employee who:
√ is attending secondary school
√ is in Year 9, 10, 11 or 12 at the time of application
√ meets the AFS application guidelines
