AFS Moreton Bay

Qld_hosted_stus_08

Welcome to Queensland’s exciting new venture, the Moreton Bay Local Group!

Moreton Bay is in the establishing stage and is aiming to commence AFS activities in July 2008. We are keenly recruiting volunteers to help us become established and to be involved as foundation volunteers in the growth and development of our group.

There are many innovative and exciting events being planned and everyone’s input is always welcome. Come and join our group whether you are interested in volunteering, hosting, going overseas, or maybe you would just like to socialise with people interested in international exchange.

The Moreton Bay Local Group covers a vast geographical area and the Northern boundary is the Brisbane River, we cover South to the NSW Border and the Western boundary is again the Brisbane River until it reaches the Centenary Bridge at Jindalee, from there, the boundary is the Centenary Highway until Springfield Lakes and then a straight line down to the NSW border.

If you live in the catchment area of the Moreton Bay Local Group and would like to join us in this exciting new venture, please contact us and we can discuss how you would like to become involved. If you live outside the catchment area but would like to be kept up to date with Moreton Bay’s progress, let us know and we will add you to the email list.

This is a great opportunity to get involved in the growth of AFS in South Queensland.
